University of Michigan
Cynthia is a Neuroimaging Program Manager at the Michigan Alzheimer's Disease Center, with extensive experience in managing MRI/PET data, developing automated neuroimaging workflows, and data stewardship. She holds Master's degrees in Data Science and Community Psychology, with a background in machine learning, data management, and neuroimaging research.
University of Turin
Annachiara is a PhD student in Neuroscience at the University of Turin. She holds a Master’s degree in Body and Mind Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychological Techniques and Sciences. She is part of the GCS-fMRI and FocusLab research groups, which focus on pathoconnectomics and meta-analytic studies of pathological damage propagation. Her research aims to investigate cognitive resilience in aging by integrating cognitive and neuroimaging data using advanced data science techniques.
UCLA
Arianna is a doctoral student in the UCLA Clinical Psychology program. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Amherst College and spent two years at the University of Pennsylvania’s Brain Behavior Lab investigating neuroimaging and clinical data in youth with psychosis. Her research focuses on the relationship between neurodevelopment and psychosis symptoms in adolescents and young adults.
UC San Diego
Morgan C. Fitzgerald is a Neuroscience Ph.D. student at UC San Diego in Dr. Bradley Voytek’s lab, researching heart-brain dynamics in cognitive aging. With a B.S. in Biopsychology from UC Santa Barbara, Morgan has co-developed computational tools and has extensive experience in neuropsychological research and data analysis.
University of Regensburg
Elena is a PhD student in Neuroscience at the Institute for Experimental Psychology in Regensburg, Germany. With a Master’s degree in Psychology focused on Cognitive and Visual Neuroscience, she now researches visual perception, particularly neural processes and plasticity in individuals with impaired vision. Her current work involves MRI-based studies of patients with central scotoma.
Anne-Marie Leiby
University of Wisconsin
Anne-Marie is a Neuroscience PhD student within the Center for Healthy Minds at the University of Wisconsin Madison. Her current research aims to investigate the use of contemplative practices, such as meditation, and the potential impact such interventions have on both physiological and emotional well-being.
Viktoriia Batarchuk
Lakehead University
Dr. Batarchuk, a Postdoctoral Fellow at Lakehead University, specializes in advanced imaging and biomedical research. She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Physics, focusing on bio signal analysis and machine learning, and a Master's in Medical Physics. With expertise in data analysis, algorithm design, and expert systems for EEG/EMG signal processing, her current work centers on AI-driven molecular imaging, including hyperpolarized noble gas MRI, and multimodal approaches like EEG-MRI and PET/MRI.
University of Tubingen
Dr. Elsherif is a neurosurgeon at the University of Tübingen, Germany, specializing in neuro-oncology and movement disorders. He combines clinical expertise with advanced research in computational neuroimaging to enhance patient care. With Master’s degrees in Translational Medical Research from Heidelberg University and Medical Informatics from the University of Tübingen, Dr. Elsherif focuses on applying medical data science and AI models in neuroscience, driving innovation at the intersection of technology and neurosurgery.
Sara Wong
UCLA
Sara Wong is the Lab Manager of the Cognition, Affect, and Neurodevelopment in Youth Lab at UCLA, studying behavioral and neural phenotypes of adolescent depression. Her current work involves collecting and analyzing multimodal data such as MRS, fMRI, biospecimens, and clinical interviews. Sara has an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Emory University and has experience in clinical intervention and assessment. Her research background includes emotion, recognition memory, multisensory processing, and neurodevelopment.
Alan Patrick Davalos Guzman
National Autonomous University of Mexico
Dr. Alan Patrick Dávalos Guzmán is a psychiatrist and researcher focused on computational neuroscience. Alan has extensive experience in brain imaging, statistical analysis, and transcranial magnetic stimulation. He holds a Master's in Medical Sciences and has a strong background in psychiatry and clinical research.
